Objectives

Every person on this planet is at risk of acquiring an infectious disease. Some communities are better equipped to prevent the spread of disease or to assist those individuals who fall ill. For example, every 30 seconds a child dies from malaria, mostly in Africa. The developed world has spent billions of dollars over the past few decades trying to eradicate malaria, yet one to three million people die every year from this one disease alone. Diarrhea also kills millions of people throughout the world. Pandemic influenza is a constant threat looming on the horizon as are other epidemics. Our objective is to identify solutions for threats to individual health in these communities through developing innovative products, testing, software and consulting services. Through our ability to identify gaps in technology we are able to bring creative solutions faster and cheaper than much larger organizations and lead the way in innovation.
